For the ingredients, you will need the following:
- Two tender turnips sliced into small cubes
- Three pieces of dry, red chilies
- Curry leaves
- Tamarind juice
- A teaspoon of cooking oil
Once you have all the ingredients ready, start off by heating the cooking oil in a small pan. Put the cubed turnips in and fry. Add the red chilies and curry leaves until the raw smell dissipates.
Allow to cook for a few more minutes until the turnips become soft. When this has been achieved, turn off the fire and allow to cool. Once it has reached room temperature, grind the turnips to a paste using a blender. Add the tamarind juice and salt to taste.
